Thoughts: Leslie Elaine says: this was my best drawing in 7th grade. I don't know what inspired my raccoon-pirate character, but once I made it, I got really into the details. I loved drawing all the leaves, the light through the trees, the pirate hat, the toilet-paper-roll telescope, and the rope ladder.
