Summer Breeze
Thoughts: Mom says: Leslie completed this painting when she wasn't feeling well. There was a lot of turmoil in her emotions. I encouraged her to do art because that is therapeutic for her. I had to beg her to do art on that particular day as she was unmotivated. So I was blown away when she showed me what she'd made. I was amazed that she could produce a piece so light and airy, warm and lovely, peaceful and happy, when she was not. I marvel over how I can feel the breeze and a certain contentment when I look at this picture.
